WindEnergy Hamburg is the world’s leading trade fair for the wind energy sector.

It brings together companies, start-ups, associations and experts to showcase technologies, projects and solutions relating to onshore and offshore wind energy. The event combines an exhibition, a conference and networking opportunities, and serves as a key meeting place for the international energy transition.

Your entry into the wind energy sector

Wind energy has long been more than just a topic for the future – it is one of Europe’s most important growth markets. This is precisely where the Recruiting Days at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 come in: on 24 and 25 September 2026, students, school pupils, apprentices and those starting their careers will have the chance to meet companies, associations and organisations from the wind energy sector face to face.

Best of all: entry is free for school pupils, students and apprentices.

The future of wind energy awaits – and perhaps your next career move too.

Discover career opportunities in an industry of the future

Whether it’s engineering, business, IT, logistics, marketing, project management or sustainability – the wind energy sector is looking for talented young people from a wide range of disciplines. At the Recruiting Days, around 50 exhibitors will be showcasing their companies and offering fascinating insights into their organisations, entry-level opportunities and career paths.

Anyone who has always wanted to know what the energy transition looks like in practice, or what jobs are involved in modern wind farms, battery storage systems and innovative technologies, will find first-hand answers here.

Get to know the company – in person and first-hand

Instead of anonymous online applications, the Recruiting Days focus on face-to-face conversations. Visitors have the opportunity to:

  • make contacts with potential employers

  • discover internships, part-time student roles and trainee programmes

  • ask questions about starting out in a career and career paths

  • exchange views with industry experts

Particularly exciting for students: many companies are specifically looking for young talent and the next generation of professionals who want to play an active role in shaping the energy transition.

Stage, Insights and Networking

Alongside the exhibition areas, visitors can look forward to a varied programme of stage events. Companies, associations and organisations will be presenting their work, current projects and career opportunities there.

In addition, a digital job board ensures that visitors can find exhibitors’ latest job vacancies quickly and easily – from work placements to entry-level roles.

A special highlight is in store on Thursday: the Career Happy Hour will take place from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm. In a relaxed atmosphere, visitors can network, make contacts and exchange ideas whilst enjoying delicious drinks and snacks.

Why it’s worth a visit

Recruiting Days offer the perfect opportunity to get to know one of the most exciting industries of the future – in person, in a straightforward and practical way. By networking early on, you can build valuable contacts to help you start your career and perhaps even take the first step towards your dream job.
